Well its been a really long time since I have updated my blog. As most of you know I now work full time as a nurse at Wasatch Care Center here in Ogden. Its a really fun, but stressful job! I am going to start to work 3 days a week instead of 4 so I should have more time to update this blog! I also took Patho this last summer. I am finally done with school. I was going to try and get into the RN program next fall but decided to wait a little longer :) Karson is going to go back to school for his masters instead. Other than that life is pretty good. Karson started work again this last yesterday. He seems to be enjoying it so far. But enough about us, let me tell you all about Skylee!!
She is now 9 months old. She's been a busy little girl these last few months. She is getting so BIG!! She weighs 19lbs and 15oz, She is 30 inches long!! Off the charts! She has been sitting up by herself for quite some time now. She babbles none stop all day long! Its my absolute favorite when she wakes up in the morning and starts talking. She almost wispers because she hasn't quite waken up yet :) She loves playing with all of her toys, I don't think she has a favorite toy yet. She hasn't quite figured out how to crawl but I know she's so close. She does scoot backwards and can roll just about anywhere. She also does circles while she's sitting :) She eats all kinds of baby foods now, I do believe that pears are her favorite. She is now eating little puff cereal type things, yogurt puffs, and little baby cheetos! She is so cute while she's trying to figure it all out! I have recently tried to feed her eggs and she doesn't like them at all, haha she makes the funniest faces! She plays patty cake, shakes her head no, reaches for anything and everything, and LOVES watching WordWorld. Turn the show on and nothing else exists! Its really funny! So some of you reading this might now that we had been having Skylee sleep in our bed pretty much since the day we brought her home. It has become quite the problem for me because I don't sleep very well, and baby sleeping in bed + zero sleep + gettting up at 3:30 AM= bad combination. So I was talking to my mother in law and she suggested moving Skylees crib in our laundry room so its close to our room and she has been sleeping in it all night, what a big girl we have!!! So funny to think that she probably would of forever ago if we would just tried it. Its us that had the seperation issues, not her! She also got to meet her Great Grandma Baker for the first time in July! We had such a good time, went to some musuems, went swimming at the hotel where everyone was staying, played ladder ball, and had a bbq or two! It was so cool to see my Grandma hold my baby! A memory I'll never forget. She has also gotten to meet my mom and Dale, and her uncle Nick! A lot of exciting things, here are some pics of the last few months, Can't believe she's going to be one in 3 months!! Where does the time go???
